Jason J. Romero, Esquire

Founding Partner

Jason Romero is a lawyer and founding member of St. John & Romero, PLLC.  Jason is a litigator with nearly a decade of experience representing businesses and individuals in the areas of commercial and consumer bankruptcy, Federal Employer Liability Act litigation, civil litigation and contract disputes, personal injury and trademark litigation.  Jason clerked for former Chief Justice Ruth McGregor of the Arizona Supreme Court before joining Osborn Maledon, where he practiced for 7 years as an associate and a member.  In his bankruptcy practice, Jason focuses on serving the needs of small to medium size businesses as both creditors and debtors, as well as individuals seeking relief under Chapters 7, 11 or 13 of the bankruptcy code.  As a civil litigator, Jason has litigated numerous disputes of all shapes and sizes, and prides himself on his trial experience and success, having obtained several multi-million dollar jury verdicts on behalf of his clients, including two of the top ten largest civil jury verdicts in the State of Arizona in 2012.

Mr. St. John has successfully recovered tens of millions of dollars on behalf of his clients, including several multi-million dollar recoveries. In addition to dealing with large insurance companies, Mr. St. John enjoys representing individuals against large defendants, which in the past have included Johnson &  Johnson, Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Southern California Gas Company, BNSF Railway, Union Pacific Railroad, Best Western, and Petco.


Mr. St. John can bring cases in any state in the country through their pro hac vice mechanisms and co-counsel arrangements, he is a member of the State and Federal Bar of Arizona, the Federal Bar of Colorado, and in the past via pro hac vice California State Court, New Jersey State Court, and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York.      
 
Mr. St. John earned his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University. During his undergraduate education, he interned for Governor Jane Hull during the 1998 regular and emergency legislative sessions.
 
Mr. St. John earned his Juris Doctorate degree, high pro bono distinction, from the Sandra Day O'Connor School of Law. While in law school, Mr. St. John earned the following honors:

Before being honorably discharged to go to law school, Mr. St. John received commendations and awards for his military service in an armored battalion and an armored cavalry unit, which began in 1992 and lasted until 2001. During that time he enlisted as a Private, earned several promotions, and was sent to Non-Commissioned Officer Academy where Sergeant St. John was born.
 
Mr. St. John enjoys spending time with his wife Sunny and their three children. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, playing any sport except basketball, and serving at Scottsdale Bible Church.
